Thief in Othello's Home
A staff member reports seeing Emilia, assistant to Desdemona and wife to Iago, stealing a handkerchief that belongs to Desdemona. Emilia has denied all accusations made. The matter has not been made known to Othello and Desdemona yet. Emilia is said to be scheduling a meeting with the staff member to resolve all issues. A thief in the home of Othello would not be good, but at least something important like battle plans were not stolen and it was just a worthless handkerchief. What is the worse that could happen with a handkerchief being stolen? (Act 3: scene iii)

Who would still a handkerchieft, for real.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that handkerchief is important for Desdemona and Othello. It can be troublsome for all if it was stolen.
