Breaking news! A fight broke out at Montano's party. The attendees say that Cassio was a little "tipsy", and he was not like himself. An unidentified man had provoked Cassio to the stage that Cassio wanted to fight. A fight broke out, but Montano jumped in to stop it. Cassio is reported to have stabbed Montano. If you know any information on the unidentified person or any knowledge on the fight, post a comment. We have now discovered that Montano is in critical condition, but will survive. Cassio's punishment is not known yet. (Act 2: scene iii)
I heard that Iago might have stabbed Montano. But that is just the word on the street.

ReplyDeleteShortly after the fight an onlooker heard Cassio say this to Iago, "Reputation, reputation, reputation! Oh, I have lost my reputation! I have lost the immortal part of myself, and what remains is bestial. My reputation, Iago, my reputation!"
